Harmony test results are in – 10 weeks 4 days

Just a quickie as doing this on my brand new iPhone 6S (OMG I love it!). We got our Harmony results back this afternoon and everything looks great. The doc said all results were less than 1 in 10,000 for the chromosomes we check. I cannot tell you how relieved I am after all the trouble we’ve had with chromosomes in embryos during our IVF cycles. Perfect timing all this as we are about to go away to a family wedding this weekend so it is nice to know things are looking good.

As for gender…we don’t know YET. I asked the doc to email the result to me and I have to wait to see Eric to open it. We are talking about stopping somewhere nice for food on our road trip tomorrow and opening it then. OMG it is taking all my energy to wait knowing it is just sitting there in my email. Argh. And I thought I could wait until Christmas. Pffffft

I will reveal all sooooooooon…ish.

    • I don’t know what I’m thinking! I felt boy as soon as I got pregnant but lately I’ve wondered if it might be a girl. I have always thought two boys though. Find out soon! Woo!

    So tempting with the NIPT results and gender- its just sitting there in your email! EEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkk!

    Oh my gosh I don’t know if I could do that. Knowing the answer was so close. You are a good woman. I could have said no I don’t want it from the start though. 🙂

        • I have always thought two boys and I would like Monkey to have a brother but at the same time would not be unhappy with a girl at all. I would love Eric to have a girl. I think he would be a wonderful father for a girl and I’d I’ve him to get that experience. When I very first fell pregnant I thought boy but now I am feeling so fat I am starting to wonder! Lol I think basically I don’t really know and either result would be OK 🙂

      • I’m sorry. 😦 I’ve been here and have many posts in my drafts but they are very heavy as we have been experiencing some crazy times in our lives but hopefully things start turning around. Building strength every day. 🙂 I read your posts and am cheering from the sideline with every milestone that you reach, I promise. One lucky baby to have such a beautiful and persistent mama bear. x

  16. Absolutely fabulous news!!! Especially that you got it right before going away, so now you can relax and have fun. I hope that he gives in and you guys can read that email SOON!!! I don’t think I’d be able to stand it…if B isn’t with me whenever we find out the gender for whatever reason, I don’t think I’ll be able to wait for him to find out lol!
